Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has the highest estimated transfer value in Europe, according to the Reds’ most valuable asset, Luis Diaz
Liverpool will have signed the most valuable player in European football if they sign Jude Bellingham, and they have gotten a steal in Cody Gakpo.
The CIES Football Observatory’s biannual list of which players in Europe’s top five leagues have the highest estimated transfer value has once again applied science to the beautiful game
Age, contract length, experience, and contribution on the field in the previous seasons are among the factors considered in determining the most expensive players
And Liverpool are still interested in signing Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Bellingham, who is valued at a whopping £183.7 million, narrowly ahead of Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Paris Saint-Kylian Germain’s Mbappe
Luis Diaz, who is currently out with a serious knee injury, is the highest-paid Reds player in the top 100, with a fee of £96.8 million
Darwin Nunez is worth £72.2 million, Alisson Becker is worth £70.4 million, Trent Alexander-Arnold is worth £70.2 million, Mohamed Salah is worth £62.9 million, Diogo Jota is worth £60.4 million, and Ibrahima Konate is worth £49.9 million
And new signing Gakpo is valued at £56.1 million, implying Liverpool got a good deal when they splashed out an initial £37 million – which could rise to £44 million – to sign the Dutchman from PSV Eindhoven
Manchester City and Real Madrid each have five of the top twenty players, with Diaz and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka the only non-City Premier League players to make the cut
