The revelation that Celtic star Josip Juranovic is essentially waiting for Manchester United to approach him has struck a major blow to West Ham
The 27-year-old Celtic right-back, according to a Tuttomercatoweb article, only has a transfer to Manchester United on his mind
Given that David Moyes is supposedly very eager to get Juranovic to the London Stadium, this poses a significant challenge for the Hammers
The Croatian international made his name known to the globe with a string of outstanding performances for his team in Qatar this winter during the World Cup.
He would have been the ideal summer acquisition for West Ham given David Moyes‘ present right-back woes.
However, it seems as though we are in for a major letdown
Major West Ham loss as a result of Juranovic’s choice of Manchester United
The chances of the 27-year-old signing with the Hammers appear slim because he is supposedly waiting for a call from Manchester United
And that’s a great shame because in the London Stadium, Juranovic would be a significant improvement over Vladimir Coufal and Ben Johnson
His c performances for Croatia were simply incredible. This season, Juranovic has also contributed greatly to Celtic
The Croatian is a very reliable operator with a tremendously outstanding rate of speed
Juranovic is tremendously powerful and has boundless energy and stamina
According to Daily Record, the Celtic man would be up for sale this month for as little as £7 million
That would be of unimaginable worth to whichever club ends up signing him
Therefore, Juranovic’s acquisition by Manchester United will surely be a huge setback for West Ham in the January transfer window
