‘Liverpool are set to have a busy summer, signing several midfielders in the same window, but it appears that the names we’ve been hearing the most aren’t the only men on our list
“There are many midfield targets being discussed by Liverpool, not just Alexis MacAllister, Mason Mount, and Ryan Gravenberch,” Fabrizio Romano wrote for CaughtOffside.
“But it’s still very early; Liverpool will undoubtedly sign midfielders, but April is not the time to sign players.” Because the market can be about opportunities at times, Liverpool is looking into various options.
“I’ve heard they’ll bring in two or three midfielders this summer.”
Alexis MacAllister, Mason Mount, and Ryan Gravenberch are certainly some of the most frequently heard names in our hectic rumour mill, but it appears that we can expect to hear some more.
We appear to have prioritized signing several strong options over putting all of our eggs in the Jude Bellingham basket, so we can expect a few new arrivals.
At this point, the Italian transfer expert hasn’t revealed who these players might be, so we’ll just have to keep an ear to the ground to see who else might arrive at Anfield.
There’s still plenty of football to be played, but it won’t be long before we’re all caught up in what will most likely be a long period of rumors and stories.
Whether it’s Moises Caicedo or one of the many others we’ve already seen linked, it’s time to buckle up and brace ourselves for the highs and lows that await us.
