According to rumors, Liverpool is one of several clubs interested in signing PSG midfielder Renato Sanches during the summer transfer season
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are now sixth in the Premier League rankings, seven points behind fourth-placed Tottenham but with two games in hand.

Their poor form this season is all the more surprising given that they came so close to an unprecedented Quadruple last season, with Manchester City eventually beating them to the Premier League crown and Real Madrid edging them out in the Champions League final.
And it remains to be seen how much support Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will receive in the summer, with owners Fenway Sports Group publicly seeking investment in the team.
Yet there are already rumors about who Liverpool will spend their money on this summer, with new midfielders thought to be their top priority.
According to 90min, Liverpool are ‘believed to appreciate’ Swansea City flop Sanches ‘and are kept informed of his status’ at PSG.

Other potential suitors named in the paper include Aston Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolves, and they understand ‘that significant interest from England persists’.
PSG are ‘willing to part ways’ with Sanches ‘only one year after signing him from Lille,’ after the midfielder has had a succession of ailments and has never played more than 25 league games in a season.
But, Liverpool have reportedly made a move to recruit an early summer signing, with Football Insider reporting that the Reds have’made a move’ for St Patrick’s Athletic attacker Mason Melia.
At the age of 15, the ‘teen sensation’ has become the Irish side’s youngest-ever player and goalscorer, and he has ‘gotten the eye of Premier League clubs including Liverpool and they have registered an interest in signing him’.

‘The Merseysiders‘ scouts have been keeping a close eye on the youngster and have given the recruitment team fantastic recommendations.
‘But, Liverpool will face competition from Premier League rivals to sign the forward this summer.’
Liverpool have been connected with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, and former Reds striker Emile Heskey believes he would fit in well at Anfield.
“Jude definitely fits that bill [for Liverpool],” Heskey told 90min. Many clubs would be interested in Jude. You hope Liverpool is near the top of that list because of what he could accomplish there.

“Think about what Cristiano Ronaldo did when he went to Real Madrid in his peak, and people wondered, ‘Why is he coming to Real Madrid?'” But he saw an opportunity to be the man to lead the team back to the top, and Jude might be in the same scenario.”
