Liverpool enters this game on the heels of a 7-0 victory over fierce rivals Manchester United, and they will be brimming with confidence.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are in a slump and will need to start picking up points if they are to stay in the Premier League.

The Reds will be missing Thiago Alcantara, Luis Diaz, and Joe Gomez when they travel to the Vitality Stadium for the noon kick-off. Thiago is out with a hip injury, while Diaz is still out with a knee injury. Gomez is out with a muscular injury.

Jurgen Klopp stated during his pre-match press conference that all three players are out this weekend. They could, though, return to action following the international break.

“All three not available [this weekend],” Klopp remarked on Friday before continuing, “Different phases, I would say. Joey might be able to train at the start of the week, and Luis, hopefully, next week. Following the international break, definitely [it’s] feasible for both.”

“We’ll see, Thiago. None of them have yet trained with the team; we’ll see how that goes in the coming weeks and then we’ll know more. Other than that, nothing [new] has come to my attention since the last game.”

Jordan Henderson, the club captain, might also keep his starting spot as he attempts to add drive and defensive cover. Nevertheless, Klopp is poised to start the same front three that beat Manchester United, with Cody Gakpo leading the charge after his brace.

Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez both scored braces against Manchester United, and both are expected to start as wide forwards. Therefore Klopp will have Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino on the bench.

ndrew Robertson were brilliant against Manchester United, and they are expected to remain at fullback. On the sides, both players will aim to provide defensive cover and creative play. Ibrahima Konate is expected to form a defensive partnership with Virgil van Dijk.

Fabinho will start as the defensive midfielder in the center of the field. The Brazilian will try to disrupt the other team’s play and win the ball back for his team. Harvey Elliott, who impressed in his last game, is set to get the start here. The child will be expected to add some craft in the middle of the performance.
