Ben Doak, a Liverpool youngster, is due to return to training by the end of the week after suffering a muscular injury
That’s according to Ian Doyle of the Echo, who offered an update on two Merseyside players today.
Following the revelation that Diogo Jota was getting closer to rejoining the Reds, the reporter added that the Portugal international trained again today, as anticipated.
He did, however, provide an update on the 17-year-old forward, who has been a standout for Jurgen Klopp’s first-team this season.
Doak is anticipated to be back in training by the weekend after missing the last three games due to a minor muscle ailment.

Doak is set to resume training.
This will be a huge boost for Liverpool, who are currently devoid of attacking options to bring off the bench.
Because Jota has been out for several months, the Reds will be cautious in reintroducing him into the lineup.
Luis Diaz is still on the sidelines, while Roberto Firmino has only recently returned to training, but he has yet to rejoin the squad.
As a result, Doak will almost certainly return to the Anfield bench.
Klopp’s matchday selection for four of Liverpool’s past seven Premier League games has included the U21 Scotland international.
Every time the child has stepped onto the pitch, he has shown no fear, demonstrating his will to attack the opposing goal.
Andy Robertson, a Liverpool teammate, claimed the teenager has been ‘unbelievable’ in training this season, earning him a call-up to the senior side.
As a result, Klopp will be relieved to hear of his comeback.
