Liverpool are said to have narrowed down their midfield shortlist as manager Jurgen Klopp aims to bolster his options in the coming months. Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is said to be among them, and while a deadline-day move is unlikely, significant action might be done in the summer.
The Reds moved quickly this month, bringing in Cody Gakpo for £37 million to add offensive reinforcements. It provided extra delight for supporters because they snatched the Dutchman away from Manchester United, who had also expressed interest.
