On Sunday, Liverpool came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Premier League leaders Arsenal at Anfield. Salah cut Liverpool’s deficit in the 42nd minute before Roberto Firmino equalized three minutes later.

Salah’s penalty miss earlier in the second half, however, has raised concerns about his ability to score from the spot. Last month, the Egyptian international also missed a penalty in a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth.

The Reds’ next match is against Leeds United at Elland Road, and Klopp addressed Salah’s missed penalty in his post-match press conference.

“That is something we will discuss, but not here. I didn’t see the penalty until after the game “Klopp made the remarks following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

“A few people in the crowd reacted, so when you don’t see the penalty, you react based on what other people see, and a few people obviously thought the ball was in, but it wasn’t.”

“He failed to score. So that’s why for a second the fist, and then I realised, ‘Oh, Mo isn’t celebrating’. Then I realized the ball wasn’t in play. That’s all there is to it.”
