TEAMtalk can confirm that Liverpool have three midfielders firmly in their sights this season, as well as that Jurgen Klopp is excited about the prospect of a major breakthrough in the future of two players who are expected to leave Anfield in 2023

In January, the Reds began their transfer business by signing Cody Gakpo in a deal worth up to £45 million. The striker arrives from PSV after Klopp snuck in to steal him from Manchester United

Klopp’s main transfer goal for 2023 is to bolster his old midfield. They have been crushed far too often this season, with a home defeat to Leeds and a recent defeat to Brentford exposing their flaws. Indeed, after witnessing the ruins of Liverpool’s defeat to the Bees, Jamie Carragher stated that the Reds “no longer look like a Jurgen Klopp team.”

As a result, Liverpool’s need to upgrade their engine room has never been more apparent. James Milner turned 37 this week, and he could be nearing the end of his glittering Merseyside career.

Furthermore, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain become free agents on July 1 and are free to leave. Furthermore, both Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are getting younger, as both have been injured this season. Graeme Bailey, a tour transfer expert, is in charge of Liverpool’s plans for this year. He can also confirm the three names Klopp is considering as possible replacements.

Sofyan Amrabat and Moises Caicedo create a Liverpool-inspired look.

“There’s no denying Liverpool needs to understand their midfield, and they know it,” he told TEAMtalk.

“As for this month, they wanted to bring someone in, and Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat is a player that Klopp admires. “His performance in the World Cup final was outstanding, but that means his value is solid, and Fiorentina don’t appear to be persuaded to go on a loan option, which they were willing to do last year.”

“There is also Moises Caicedo, the Brighton star.” He is a big fan of the Premier League, and Liverpool is one of his favorites. Getting it in January, on the other hand, will be extremely difficult. Brighton will demand at least £50 million, but I believe it will be more than £60 million.”

Klopp’s interest in signing Jude Bellingham is also well known. However, as Bailey attests, Liverpool’s success remains elusive, despite some senior Liverpool players attempting to persuade him to move to Anfield.

“The elephant in the room when you talk to Liverpool and the middlefielder is obviously Jude Bellingham,” Bailey continued. We know they like it and want it, but there is still no agreement. Get away from it!

“And, while Anfield is confident in their ability to sign him, they are also aware that the player has options at Real Madrid and Manchester City, both of which are desperate for his signature.” There’s also no guarantee that he [Dortmund] will be there this year he’s gone.”

Klopp is willing to keep Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

With so many transfer possibilities for Liverpool, we can also reveal a possible change of scenery for two current stars.
While both Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain have been sidelined with injuries at Anfield, Klopp isn’t ruling out a major breakthrough.

In fact, both have been out for extended periods of time this season. However, both players appear to be in good shape and have been playing in recent weeks.
Keita has now appeared in five Premier League games this season. Oxlade-Chamberlain has made eight appearances this season and scored the game-winning goal against Brentford.
Bailey can now reveal that Klopp is open to both signing and new contracts.

“When it comes to Liverpool’s midfield, a revolution could be on the way.” Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are two players who appear to be ready to play right now. Both contracts expire on July 1st.

“As things stand now, they’re both leaving, but I believe Klopp is willing to let them stay now that they’re both back at the club.”

“Overall, Klopp has a lot of decisions to make, but they are all important decisions for Liverpool!”
