TEAMtalk can confirm that Liverpool have three midfielders firmly in their sights this season, as well as that Jurgen Klopp is excited about the prospect of a major breakthrough in the future of two players who are expected to leave Anfield in 2023

Klopp’s main transfer goal for 2023 is to bolster his old midfield. Indeed, after witnessing the ruins of Liverpool’s defeat to the Bees, Jamie Carragher stated that the Reds “no longer look like a Jurgen Klopp team.”

Klopp is willing to keep Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

While both Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain have been sidelined with injuries at Anfield, Klopp isn’t ruling out a major breakthrough.
In fact, both have been out for extended periods of time this season. However, both players appear to be in good shape and have been playing in recent weeks.
Keita has now appeared in five Premier League games this season. Oxlade-Chamberlain has made eight appearances this season and scored the game-winning goal against Brentford.
Bailey can now reveal that Klopp is open to both signing and new contracts.
