With Caoimhin Kelleher set to leave Anfield, Jurgen Klopp is looking to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
Kelleher has been serving as Alisson’s understudy at Liverpool this season, but the 24-year-old has only made three appearances. Instead, Alisson has started every Premier League and Champions League game this season.
He is still a regular for the Republic of Ireland, but with Gavin Bazunu as the first-choice at Southampton, he is in danger of losing his place in the national team. As a result, Klopp is preparing for Kelleher’s departure in the summer window.
According to the Daily Mail, the Irishman is ready to leave Anfield in search of more playing time. As a result, Klopp has added a new goalkeeper to his summer shopping list, in addition to improving his midfield options.
