The Reds have already been linked with a slew of prospective new arrivals months before the transfer season begins. After a dismal season, Jürgen Klopp is expected to seek several new additions to his side.

Several Liverpool players are poised to leave the club as free agents. One of them is Roberto Firmino, who will leave Anfield after eight years.

Other players out of contract at the conclusion of the season include James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. It remains to be seen whether any of them will sign a contract extension between now and the end of June.

As a result, the majority of transfer rumours revolve around the midfield area of the pitch. And it’s no secret that Liverpool is interested in Jude Bellingham.

The Borussia Dortmund talent is currently one of Europe’s most sought-after talents. Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Manchester United have all been linked with the midfielder, but he would undoubtedly be a dream signing for Klopp.

Mason Mount is another midfielder connected with Liverpool. With his present contract predicament, the Chelsea star is rumored to be a player on the move this summer.

Chelsea may want to sell him in the summer because his contract expires in 2024. But whether Mount or the London club would consider Liverpool is another question.

Gavi, a Barca star, would also be a dream signing for Liverpool, albeit a difficult and improbable one. His fu

ture at the Nou Camp is uncertain, with La Liga apparently canceling the agreement that elevated him to first-team status in January.

As a result, his previous youth-team contract was slated to expire this summer, and he may potentially leave as a free agent. There is still much to be addressed in his circumstances, but Liverpool would be well to keep an eye out if one of Europe’s most gifted young midfielders becomes available on the cheap.

Klopp is also said to be interested in improving his defense this summer. Josko Gvardiol appears to be the most sought-after center-back at the moment.

Roberto Firmino

The RB Leipzig defender dazzled with Croatia at the World Cup, and as a result, he is garnering interest from all around Europe. A summer move would not be cheap for Liverpool, but that is why he is regarded as a “dream” signing.

Now, with Firmino on his way out, there are worries over whether the club will hunt for a replacement. While these reports are now quiet, if the Reds do decide to recruit a striker, there is one who is an obvious choice.

With his achievements in Serie A and the Champions League this season, Napoli star Victor Osimhen has been one of Europe’s best strikers. In recent months, he has also been linked with Manchester United.

Again, if Napoli allowed Osimhen to depart this summer, the transfer fee would be substantial, to say the least. As a result, he qualifies as a “dream signing” for Liverpool.
