Liverpool will face Arsenal on Sunday in a game that could have major implications in both the title race and the battle for European qualification

Liverpool plays Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday, completing a triple-header of Premier League ‘big six’ clashes.

After losing to Manchester City and drawing with Chelsea, it appears that the Reds simply must win to resurrect their dwindling top-four hopes.

They could seriously damage Arsenal’s title hopes in the process, with the Gunners likely to start the game five points ahead of Manchester City if Pep Guardiola’s men beat Southampton on Saturday evening.

Jürgen Klopp made six changes to his team for the trip to Chelsea, with only one of them being forced, as Virgil van Dijk was ruled out due to illness.

Klopp stated following the game at Stamford Bridge (via London World) that he expects Van Dijk to return for the weekend, and he appeared in the club’s training pictures on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Stefan Bajeti and Calvin Ramsay have already been ruled out for the season, and Naby Keta looks set to miss out after suffering a muscle injury while on international duty. Keta may have even played his last few minutes for the club.
