According to sources, Tottenham has launched an offer for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, with Daniel Levy leading the charge
Harry Kane was allowed to leave Tottenham earlier this summer for Bayern Munich for £86 million, while the total price might be closer to £100 million depending on various add-ons.
They failed to fully replace the England international this summer, instead relying on Brazilian international Richarlison as the team’s key striker.
There have even been rumors that Tottenham squandered the money from Kane’s sale before letting their top scorer leave the club.
Despite losing in the Carabao Cup to Fulham on Tuesday night, Ange Postecoglou’s side has made a solid start to the post-Kane era, collecting seven points from their first three Premier League games while playing front-foot aggressive football.
Postecoglou, on the other hand, is still looking to bolster his squad with attacking players like Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest and Ansu Fati from Barcelona.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is said to be “obsessed” with the 22-year-old Brazilian international, who made 34 appearances in La Liga last season, providing nine goals and eight assists.
However, with only a few weeks until the transfer deadline on September 1st, finding a suitable replacement and accepting Tottenham’s offer “seems like an impossible mission” for Real Madrid.
If Real Madrid had been successful in getting Kylian Mbappe this summer and now “cannot afford to lose more players in attack,” it could have been “possible.”
Because the La Liga club “will not even consider selling” Rodrygo before the transfer season closes, Tottenham will be forced to “look for other alternatives.”
According to Nacional, “Rodrygo, for his part, has never thought about leaving Madrid.” He is content in his current position and feels at peace in Spain’s capital. He will also not leave to play for a less ambitious team, such as Tottenham.
Clement Lenglet, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham, has been linked with a return to the club before the transfer market closes. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, on the other hand, argues that Postecoglou was never interested.

Furthermore, rumours say that the club is eager to sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is becoming a target for Atletico Madrid.
Some may be surprised by the trade, but there are concerns about whether the Dane is mobile enough to play Postecoglou‘s style.
