The AS Roma center-back is one of the squad’s more replaceable players as the club looks to earn some money before the end of the month, but Spurs were hesitant to match the demands.
According to a rumor on Monday, Ben Davies might be used as a makeweight in the trade since he has José Mourinho‘s fondness from their time together at Tottenham, and that is exactly what is occurring.
According to Corriere Roma, Pinto has’meetings to sell’ a few players, including Ibaez, who is being pursued by Ange Postecoglou‘s side.
Tottenham are reportedly ‘trying to give the Welsh left-back Ben Davies in a partial trade,’ implying that the new manager is content to go without the 30-year-old next season.
In exchange, he would receive Ibaez, albeit whether this is a deal that AS Roma will accept remains to be seen.
