According to Matt Addison, Liverpool must bring in a slew of new players to pique supporters’ interest for next season after a poor season thus far

Following the Wolves setback, Addison stated on the Blood Red live stream that the Reds must go big in the summer not only to add talent but also to get the fans excited for a new season, saying:

Problems with FSG’s potential sale of the club mean that they will be hesitant to spend given their intention to limit their financial impact in the club, making the departure of first-teamers for free difficult to deal with given the limited funds available to replace them alongside other incomings likely desired by Klopp.
The Liverpool club has been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that Enzo Fernandez’s British record move to Chelsea for £107m will almost certainly see Dortmund want more for the teenager, raising the question of quality versus quantity in the window given potentially limited spending.
