Romaine Mundle, a teenage Tottenham Hotspur player, has revealed he will leave the club this summer.
Mundle‘s contract with Tottenham expires on July 1st, 2023, and he has opted to join Belgian club Standard Liege, according to famous transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

According to Romano, the 20-year-old winger will sign a four-year contract with Standard Liege that would keep him at the club until June 2027.
Mundle has finally announced the transfer, which ends his 15-year affiliation with his childhood club.

Mundle expressed his thanks and waved farewell to Tottenham on Instagram. He stated:
“After an incredible 15 years at my boyhood club, it’s time to call it quits.” I will be eternally thankful to everyone who has helped me along the way at Tottenham, from the coaches and club personnel to my incredible teammates. Thank you for everything, @spursofficial, and best wishes for the club’s future success!”

Mundle‘s choice to join Standard Liege follows the departure of Yaya Toure, who resigned his position as Tottenham‘s U16s coach to become the Belgian club’s assistant manager. Despite attention from teams in Germany like as Frankfurt and Koln, Mundle chose to join Toure to Belgium.
This past season, he appeared in 33 games for the U21s, scoring 8 goals and assisting on 6.
He has been with the club since he was a child and was one of the club’s top prospects in the academy. He fought his way up through the ranks, and his strong achievements earned him a call-up to Tottenham‘s first team squad last season, albeit he never played.
