Despite the fact that Ibrahima Konaté’s World Cup final lasted only eight minutes, he received praise in France. The Liverpool defense performed admirably

We were astonished that Didier Deschamps did not start Ibrahima Konaté in the World Cup final versus Argentina. The Liverpool center-back has been outstanding for the reigning champions throughout the season.
He was especially impressive in the semi-final against Morocco. Deschamps, on the other hand, discarded him for the showcase in favor of Raphael Varane and Dayot Upamecano, his favored tandem.
Things didn’t exactly go as planned. Argentina dominated the final, taking a 2-0 lead in the first half. While France rallied in the end and forced penalties, they simply couldn’t keep up with their opponents’ mobility and enthusiasm.

World Cup finalist Ibrahima Konaté
Konaté will be devastated that he had to sit out France’s downfall. We can’t help but think he’d have made a major difference in their starting XI from the start, and we’re 90% confident that’s not just bias talking.
After all, he’s been impressive throughout his time in Qatar. Outside of Merseyside, Konaté established himself as one of the most proficient defenders in the game.
We have no doubt that he will start for France at the next World Cup. Liverpool has a really exceptional player, and this winter proved that without doubt.
