Bellingham has been widely connected with a move to Anfield, and Merseyside is his ‘ideal’ destination, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio [Soccernews], as reported by HITC Sport.

Manchester United, on the other hand, appears to be a genuine rival for Liverpool.

That’s because, according to BBC Sport, officials at Old Trafford believe they can get the Borussia Dortmund and England sensation, who makes £49,000 per week, to join them.

Bellingham, then just 19, cemented his position as the most exciting youth in football during the World Cup after a string of brilliant games for the Three Lions.

And Ferdinand has stated that he would welcome him to the Red Devils.

Bellingham – English, carrying the flag overseas, he’s done his bit in Germany,” he said on his YouTube channel. It’s time to go home, baby. United Manchester. Take him there. Jude, make that your home. Change the culture and return the club to its former glory.”

IS JUDE BELLINGHAM VISITING LIVERPOOL?

There’s certainly no shortage of gossip, and Jurgen Klopp is said to have made the player his main priority.

But the truth is that Bellingham will be worth a fortune in the near future, and whether Liverpool can – or will – compete financially with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain to sign him remains to be seen.
