Le Parisien  reports that Hugo Lloris‘ contract with Tottenham will likely be terminated, allowing the Frenchman to sign with any team he chooses this summer.

Following the arrival of Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli, Lloris’ time at Tottenham appears to be coming to an end.

After 11 years with the North London club, the Frenchman made it obvious last month that he is now searching for a fresh experience outside of Spurs (Nice-Matin).

The Tottenham captain was one of three goalkeepers Inter Milan considered replacing Andre Onana should the Cameroonian depart the team this summer, Gazzetta dello Sport reported a few days ago.

Tottenham is anticipated to give Lloris a free release.
Le Parisien has since confirmed this information, saying that Inter wants a goalkeeper of a “high level” who is “financially attainable,” and that Lloris fits those criteria.

The article continues that rather than financial incentives, the 36-year-old would base his decision on the “well-being of his family” and the “living environment.”

According to the source, it is “very likely” that Tottenham “will release him” from his contract, allowing him the freedom to select his next team.
Hugo has provided us with excellent service, therefore I have no doubt that Tottenham would be pleased to assist the goalkeeper in making whatever transfer he chooses.

If he chooses to go back to his hometown club in Nice this summer, I wouldn’t be shocked.
