Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, believes Liverpool is still in contention for a top-four finish
Rio Ferdinand has stated that he believes Liverpool will finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Following Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest, the Reds are seventh in the table, nine points behind Manchester United in fourth and Newcastle in third.
With seven games left in the Premier League, the former Manchester United defender isn’t ruling out Jurgen Klopp’s side finishing in the top four.
Liverpool will look to make it three wins in a row when they face West Ham United on Wednesday night in London.
“Nottingham Forest put them under it,” Ferdinand told FIVE.
“However, Liverpool got it done by hook or by crook.” Liverpool, you know, could sneak into the top four.
