Leandro Trossard, a winger for Brighton, has apparently been offered to Chelsea and Liverpool due to his excellent performance in the Premier League this year
Ben Jacobs writes in the Twitter thread below that the Belgian international appears to fit in nicely with a number of elite clubs, but it appears Liverpool are not currently interested in pursuing this potential to recruit him.
Trossard is not currently a priority for the Blues, but according to Jacobs, Chelsea might still want to consider signing him as a replacement for Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, who have inconsistent performances.
Josko Gvardiol is still a priority, too, but Chelsea no closer to agreeing a fee than last summer. Leipzig sticking to their £80-85m valuation amidst growing interest post World Cup. pic.twitter.com/B9EghKg6Vz

Given how badly Liverpool has fared since losing Sadio Mane in the summer and how Luis Diaz’s season has been hampered by injury, it is a little surprise that they don’t seem to want to pursue this option.
Trossard doesn’t seem to be quite the ideal player for the Merseyside giants’ style, but they are frequently choosy about the players they recruit.
It will be intriguing to watch if Chelsea chooses to exercise this choice in what appears to be a busy January for the west London juggernauts.
