Trent Alexander-Arnold and the notion that the right-back still has room to grow have been brought up by Kieran Gibbs

After receiving a lot of criticism recently, Gibbs defended Alexander-Arnold in an interview with ESPN, saying that he is an outstanding player with a ton of untapped potential.

Gibbs claims that it is true that people frequently overlook how young Alexander-Arnold is and that he is still a player who will develop and gain more experience.

Gibbs commented on the Liverpool player.

“He’s been outstanding; you’re going to have to accept the occasional moment of inattention for the quality he has on the offensive,” Gibbs said.

“People frequently overlook the fact that he is still so young. He has a solid foundation and confidence as a player, so he will develop as he gets older. He will also continue to grow and gain more experience.

One issue with Trent Alexander-most Arnold’s recent analysis is this.

Do experts have a point in expecting more from the right-back? He has, of course, previously played at a high level and redefined his position.

Would any other 24-year-old, though, face the same scrutiny Alexander-Arnold does? Without a doubt.

Young players are typically given a lot of wiggle room and are allowed to make mistakes, but if Alexander-Arnold makes even one mistake, he is pursued by experts and held to standards that are typically only applied to the more experienced players.
