The future of Arthur Melo at Liverpool Football Club remains a mystery, as fans have yet to gain a clear idea of what he could bring to the club in the future
Despite this, the player’s agent has stated that the Reds “would find fertile ground” if they wanted to extend his loan or make a move for him.
“We’ll finish the present season and then see: there isn’t a true right of redemption, but definitely by keeping Allegri at Juve, we’ll have to find a solution,” Federico Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb (via Sport Witness).
“So, if Liverpool were to renew the loan or make an offer, they would, in my opinion, find fertile ground.”
The playmaker has been out with a muscle issue since before the World Cup and isn’t expected to return until February.
As a result, the Brazilian international has very little time to demonstrate his abilities and persuade decision-makers at Anfield to take the jump.
At 26 years old, Arthur absolutely had to make a favorable impression during his loan stay, and the club now confronts a difficult dilemma ahead of the summer window, with the player poised to go beyond the acceptable age bracket.
Perhaps he’ll break into the first-team and play a crucial role in the latter stages of our season, but that leaves the midfielder with a lot to do in such a short period of time, by which time we’ll have likely brought in another option.
