Curtis Jones has been limited to seven games this season due to a tibia injury. Long-term absentees include Luis Diaz (knee), Diogo Jota (calf), and Arthur Melo (thigh).

Ibrahima Konate, on the other hand, is back in action after taking a break after helping France reach the World Cup final.

“No fresh injuries after the game,” Klopp claimed at his pre-match press conference. Apart from Ibou, who is now training with us, not much will be returned. He will also return.”

Over the last seven days, the Uruguay international has squandered numerous chances against Manchester City and Aston Villa, scoring none of them.

Mbappe is miles ahead of Liverpool’s £85 million summer signing, but whether they consider him a serious target remains to be seen.
