He captioned the image, “FSG put the money and get this man.” “He wants to come, and we all want him to.”
Bellingham saga is about to come to an end
Now that the Bellingham saga has dragged on, it appears that it will soon come to an end. We’ll soon learn just how badly the 19-year-old wants to sign with Liverpool.
The story has been going around for a while that Bellingham, or at least his family, is thinking about choosing a career at Liverpool.
The England player is greatly admired by Jurgen Klopp, and it is said that the admiration is also shared. He has the opportunity to play in the wide-open midfield position and emulate his idol Steven Gerrard. On paper, Liverpool appears to have a lot going for them. You can understand Jude’s attraction to that.
However, based on some of this week’s reports, it might not matter if Bellingham decides to sign with the Reds. Liverpool is reportedly reconsidering whether to enter the race at all due to the money at stake.
As Enrique suggests, FSG would be making a huge error if they did that. The Borussia Dortmund player’s arrival has long been anticipated by the crowd. If the price is as high as the suggested £110 million, they might agree to having their offer outbid by another team. But giving up completely will backfire horribly.
