‘I’d be shocked,’ says Paul Merson, who believes Klopp will start a Liverpool player worth £8 million against Nottingham Forest.

According to Paul Merson, Jurgen Klopp will start Andy Robertson at left back against Nottingham Forest on Sunday

After missing out against Chelsea, the former Arsenal midfielder suggested in his Premier League predictions column for Sportskeeda that the Reds’ big-name players could all line up at Anfield this weekend.

“This game is a concern for Arsenal,” said Merson.

“Against Chelsea, Liverpool did not field Salah, Van Dijk, Robertson, or Alexander-Arnold.” Jurgen Klopp could be holding back these players for Arsenal. I’d be surprised if they didn’t play this game. As an Arsenal fan, I am concerned that Jurgen Klopp appears to prioritize the Arsenal game at home.

“I believe Arsenal will win the Premier League if they win this game.” They still have to play an excellent Newcastle team, but if they beat Liverpool, they won’t have to. If they win this game, they’ll need a major meltdown to drop out of first place.

“Jurgen Klopp wants his Liverpool team to play in a certain way, and his team lacks the legs to do so right now.” Liverpool recently annihilated Manchester United at Anfield. “The score will be Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal.” This will be a difficult game for Arsenal, and a win here would secure my Premier League title.

Merson believes Robertson will face Arsenal.

There has been much debate in recent weeks about who should start at left-back for Liverpool.

After a poor performance against Manchester City, Robertson was benched for Tuesday’s match at Stamford Bridge.

However, his replacement, Kostas Tsimikas, was no better; in fact, he was probably worse.

Although the Scotsman requires rest from time to time, he is without a doubt Klopp’s preferred option.
