Constantine Hatzidakis will face no further action after elbowing Andy Robertson during the second half of Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Sunday
The linesman elbowed our No. 26 while attempting to shrug off the Scotsman during a debate moments after the halftime whistle.

Since then, the FA has been investigating the incident, but it has recently been confirmed that Hatzidakis will go unpunished.
“After reviewing all of the evidence in relation to the incident at Anfield involving Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson and match official Constantine Hatzidakis,” The Times’ Paul Joyce tweeted.
It’s a perplexing outcome.

It’s incredible that an official could strike a player with his elbow and go unpunished – imagine the uproar if it was the other way around.
The official has also issued a statement (as quoted by Joyce on Twitter) revealing that he has spoken with Robertson directly and has apologized to the Scotland captain.
Constantine Hatzidakis: “I have discussed the matter directly with Andy Robertson during an open and positive conversation. It was not my intention to make any contact with Andy as I pulled my arm away from him and for that I have apologised."
