According to reports, AC Milan has been offered the chance to sign Naby Keita, whose contract with Liverpool expires in a few months
Liverpool triggered Keita’s £48m release clause in August 2017 in addition to paying an undisclosed premium because RB Leipzig qualified for the Europa League, resulting in a £52.75m total investment (via Sky), which is equal to €59.8m.
However, after a promising start, things have not gone exactly as planned for the Guinea international, as he has suffered from repeated injuries and has never really established himself as a starter in the midfield three.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have recently been offered several players in preparation for the summer, including Keita.
The 28-year-old will leave Liverpool at the end of the season when his contract expires, and his entourage has explored the possibility of a move to Italy, but no word on the management’s reaction.
