Prior to the game, the visitors unveiled a banner expressing solidarity with the survivors of the Hillsborough disaster and chanting for an end to tragedy.
Of course, we can’t complain about some good old-fashioned banter during the 90 minutes, with the away end heard chanting ‘You’re just a s*** Neco Williams!’ at Trent Alexander-Arnold after the fullback lost possession in the box in the first half, as relayed on Twitter by Theo Squires of the Echo.

With all due respect to our former Red, it’s fair to say that this is far from the case, especially after Jurgen Klopp’s decision to encourage our No.66 to invert when in possession and travel to the middle of the park.
Hopefully, it will inspire a moment of brilliance to secure an early lead against Steve Cooper’s men.
