According to rumours, Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane could be on his way out of Hotspur Way this window
According to journalist Alex Crook, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is ‘coming around to the notion’ of selling star striker Harry Kane this season as doubt over his future in north London remains.
Which club will Harry Kane patronize?
According to Sky Sports, Kane hopes to stay at Tottenham if the club does not sell him before the start of the Premier League season against Brentford on August 13th.
Bayern Munich are anxious to sign the England international this summer and are poised to up their £81.7 million bid for Kane, as well as give him a five-year contract.
According to BILD writer Heiko Niedderer via The Daily Mail, the German giants sent head Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe to London on Monday for a meeting with Tottenham chairman Levy to try to complete a deal for the £200k-a-week ace.
TEAMtalk understands that Al Hilal of the Saudi Pro League are considering making a world record deal for Kane after failing to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Al Hilal anticipated that a bid of around £200 million would be enough to persuade Levy to sell Kane; however, the player has expressed no desire to relocate to the Gulf region while still in his peak.
According to Transfermarkt, Kane was in fantastic form for Tottenham last season, recording 32 goals and five assists in 49 games across all competitions.
According to journalist Crook, who spoke to GIVEMESPORT, Levy may have finally accepted the possibility of losing Kane’s services this window.
“The fact Daniel Levy is even willing to sit down with the two guys from Bayern Munich suggests that maybe he’s finally coming around to the idea of selling,” Crook said.
“But I think they’ll get close to that £100 million figure, and Bayern Munich will almost certainly have to pay a club record.”
“I think what’s been clear throughout this process is that Kane and his advisors have certainly given Bayern Munich the indication that they want to make the move.”
“This puts Spurs in a difficult position, because can they afford to risk keeping him and then losing him for free the following summer?” It’s not ideal because the answer is probably no.”
What happens next for Tottenham Hotspur?
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has been handed a reasonably difficult hand as Kane speculation continues to dominate the headlines in his debut season, but he will continue to scout possible signings for his side in the meanwhile.
According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest striker Brennan Johnson could be a possibility to replace
Gent striker Gift Orban, according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad via The Sun, is another striker on the Lilywhites’ radar and could fight with Richarlison for a central attacking berth under Postecoglou.
Blackburn Rovers defender Ashley Phillips is expected to join Spurs before the end of the week in a deal worth around £2 million, according to The Evening Standard.
