Sam Allardyce has warned Jude Bellingham that involving his father in his next transfer move could be dangerous, amid links to Liverpool and elsewhere

This summer, Bellingham is expected to be on the move. The England international is one of the most sought-after players in the world, with Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester City all vying for his signature.

Liverpool, as we all know, has had a crush on Bellingham for quite some time. However, with a place in the Champions League looking increasingly unlikely, there is some concern that the Reds will be unable to offer him the kind of money that others can.

Speaking of Bellingham, who is still represented by his father as an agent, former Premier League manager Sam Allardyce warned him about relying on family members in the football industry.

“His agent will fight for it, but he won’t bother.” Because whatever the figure is, it will make him wealthy enough for the rest of his life. As long as he has the right people on his side. That’s risky (Bellingham’s father acting as his agent). “Very dangerous,” said Allardyce on his No.

“It depends on how good his father is.” The number of parents you see with pound notes in their eyes is quite frightening. But, you know, if his father is a good, honest man with his son. But it’s amazing what money can accomplish. Parents have the right to care for their children if that is what they want to do, but they live in a difficult world.”

Borussia Dortmund is expected to pay more than £100 million for Bellingham. The German club will make a huge profit on a player they signed from Birmingham for just £25 million.

Opinion: Jude Bellingham could still choose Liverpool.

The good news for Bellingham is that no matter who he chooses, he’ll almost certainly make the team.

Yes, there will most likely be more competition at City or Madrid. But he’s still in their XIs. The most obvious option is to join Liverpool. He has the potential to be their main man and to lead the midfield for many years to come.

But Allardyce’s point about his Father is fascinating. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, especially since Allardyce appears to have prior experience with such transactions.
