Liverpool are apparently working hard to finalize the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch

Liverpool has always been expected to rebuild in the summer after spending much of the season outside the top four in the Premier League rankings.

Most of their business is thought to be in midfield, with Naby Keita, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, and James Milner all set to be released, with the former two more likely to leave Anfield than the latter.

Regardless of whether Milner signs a new 12-month contract, Liverpool are expected to make at least two significant reinforcements to their midfield.

While Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Nunes are reported to be high on Liverpool’s wishlist, alternatives are being sought.

According to sources, that includes Gravenberch, who has had a difficult debut season at Bayern after leaving Ajax.

In all competitions, the 20-year-old has received only four starts and 20 substitute appearances, totaling 684 minutes of game action.

Liverpool, according to Fichajes, are ready to take advantage of the situation and sign the Dutch international.

According to the report, Liverpool are nearing an agreement for a player who cost £16 million last summer due to having only one year left on his Ajax contract.

Despite the fact that Gravenberch has done nothing to raise his asking price, Bayern will almost probably insist on a profit if they agree to a deal, citing the player’s potential as the key reason.

The parties involved are thought to be in advanced talks ahead of a summer shift, albeit it is unclear whether it will be permanent or temporary.

Gravenberch will concentrate on impressing at Bayern for the rest of the season, hoping to earn more than the 21 minutes of playing time he has received since his arrival.
