Despite England being knocked out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals by France, the 19-year-old shined, with former Tottenham defender Dawson saying that ‘everything about him is great’.

The fact that Jurgen Klopp wants to replenish his midfield forces their pursuit of Bellingham, whom they have long admired, to become even more desperate.

In reality, if those on Merseyside are willing to spend big money on the player, they may be able to outbid Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea for his signature.

While Liverpool does not spend as much money as Manchester City, they have shattered transfer records, and when that happens, such as with Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker, they are considered superstar transfers.

There was already anticipation around Bellingham before a ball was kicked in Qatar, so you can now add World Cup tax to his possible transfer value because Dawson believes he will leave Dortmund for ‘£100 million+,’ as he stated on Sky Sports’ Football Show.

“Everything about him is unbelievable,” remarked Dawson. “He is free to go wherever he wants. People were discussing Liverpool, but how much will he cost?

“£100 million or more. Easy. For a 19-year-old male. Dortmund aren’t going to want to let him go. They made a wise investment on him. They have provided him with an education. They will want £100m+ guaranteed if they play in the first team and in Champions League games.

“I doubt Liverpool will spend that much for him. I think he will be excellent for Liverpool, but he will move to Manchester City.”

BELLINGHAM WILL MAKE THE CORRECT DECISION.

As Bellingham shown when he left Birmingham City, he could have easily joined the Premier League’s bright lights, but instead chose to complete his education in Germany.

It proved to be a brilliant move because his development has been exceptional, but now comes the next step.

Because he is still in his adolescence, staying put may seem like an unlikely option, but the time feels right for Bellingham to demonstrate his talent in the Premier League.

The important thing is that he fits into a system that requires him and will use his box-to-box abilities, which Jurgen Klopp will give in plenty.
