What is Amanda Staveley’s net worth, and can she purchase Tottenham on her own?

While rumors continue to circulate regarding Amanda Staveley purchasing a share in Tottenham Hotspur, her actual net worth would not allow her to do so. However, she has another plan to make the minority takeover succeed

Amanda Staveley seeks a new project.
Staveley was the leading force behind the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) takeover of Newcastle in 2021. But at the end of the season, she left St. James’ Park.

According to Football Insider, the British entrepreneur is now looking for another club to invest in. Tottenham is the major target.

That appears to be something Daniel Levy is extremely receptive to, as he has previously stated openly that the club requires greater investment to achieve its goals both on and off the field.

Nothing tangible has been created as of yet, but Staveley has been observed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where she is believed to be preparing to make an offer for a minority stake in Spurs.

How much is Amanda Staveley worth?
According to Forbes, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is valued £2.6 billion. Daniel Levy is thought to be willing to sell up to 25% of the club’s shares, which would require potential investors to raise roughly £600 million at such valuation.

According to Football.London, Staveley is valued approximately £130 million. That would not be enough for her to acquire a large stake in Tottenham at this time.

However, it is believed that with her global ties, the assets she owns through wealth funds, and her outstanding business acumen, Staveley could easily put together the ingredients for a takeover.

Could a full takeover occur?
In fact, The Times estimates that Staveley’s assets are worth more than £28 billion. Of course, if Staveley so desired, that would be sufficient to entirely buy out Levy and the ENIC Group. However, it is considerably more likely that she wants less commitment.
