During pre-season training this summer, Dominik Szoboszlai has already impressed many people in and around Liverpool

Their games have been high-scoring all summer, and yesterday was no exception.

Bayern was back on equal terms before halftime after storming into a 2-0 lead via Cody Gakpo and Virgil van Dijk.

Despite an incredible goal by Luis Diaz, Liverpool were overcome by Klopp’s substitutions in the second half.

Peter McDowall was discussing about new Hungarian player Dominik Szoboszlai throughout the game.

Szoboszlai has already impressed during Liverpool’s pre-season training.

After the Reds’ midfield exodus this summer, the 22-year-old will have a significant part to play next season.

Szoboszlai is making an impression during pre-season training at Liverpool.
“[Dominik] Szoboszlai fancied one from distance, he knows all about this opposition, of course,” McDowall stated during the first half.

“And he’s looked almost unstoppable in the preseason sessions I’ve seen so far, and Szoboszlai would love a goal today.”

Dominik Szoboszlai has a lot riding on him this season after joining from RB Leipzig for £60 million.

He has outstanding technical skills, and his high energy levels should help Liverpool press other teams.

Szoboszlai is also an excellent set-piece taker, giving Liverpool another option in addition to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Szoboszlai’s performance in pre-season will be music to the ears of Liverpool fans.

If the club is to return to the Champions League next season, everyone must be at their best from the start.

Szoboszlai has already impressed Klopp, and he appears certain to debut for the Reds when the Premier League season begins.

Liverpool still needs to decide who will play in the deepest midfield role next season.

Given how many goals they’ve given up in pre-season, it’s a position that sorely needs to improve following Fabinho’s departure.

It will be fascinating to see if their pursuit of Southampton teenager Romeo Lavia is accelerated as a result of yesterday’s result.
