According to Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool are interested in midfielder Declan Rice of Premier League rival West Ham
The Reds have decided not to pursue Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund. This is because they need to spend money on multiple players in various positions.
As a result, they’ve had to compile a list of other stars who might be available for a lower price than Bellingham. Rice is one of the shortlisted central midfielders.
West Ham has also been looking for a replacement for Declan Rice. The Evening Standard reported on this.

Liverpool’s decision to look elsewhere for a midfielder is understandable. This season’s Premier League campaign has been abysmal, and they appear unlikely to qualify for the Champions League. As a result, they must significantly improve the squad.
Rice, 24, has a wealth of experience, both in the Premier League and for England. He is a box-to-box midfielder who can make tackles and score the occasional goal.
