Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has identified three players earning £109,000 a week as prospective additions for the next season.

Tottenham Hotspur have targeted Edmond Tapsoba, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Micky van de Ven as targets after deciding to bring a ‘top-class central defender’ to Hotspur Way, according to Sky Sports writer Michael Bridge.

Spurs are on the approach of signing Manor Solomon, who has agreed to terms with the club after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk as a free agent, but head coach Ange Postecoglou is looking for further reinforcements.

Edmond Tapsoba, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Micky van de Ven have all joined Tottenham.
Tottenham are closing in on Tapsoba after testing Bayer Leverkusen’s commitment with a £25 million proposal, according to the Daily Star.

According to the source, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been keen to back Postecoglou in the transfer market since his hiring last month, and the signing of the central defender would bring an end to a long-running hunt for a new alternative in the backline.
Tottenham are ‘one step away’ from purchasing Tapsoba, according to respected writer Rudy Galetti, and the north Londoners will continue to strive for a deal with Leverkusen.

Fulham’s Adarabioyo is said to be a top target for Tottenham, while Wolfsburg’s van de Ven is also on Postecoglou’s radar.

Although Tottenham will not face competition from Arsenal for van de Ven’s signature, Liverpool is still negotiating with Wolfsburg.

What did Michael Bridge have to say about Tapsoba, Adarabioyo, and van de Ven?
Bridge believes that Tottenham are interested in Tapsoba, while Adarabioyo and van de Ven have also made an impression on Postecoglou.

The Sky Sports reporter is aware that Tottenham are looking for a left-sided central defender to partner Cristian Romero in the forthcoming season.

Tapsoba is someone they have looked at,” Bridge told GIVEMESPORT. Tosin Adarabioyo is also on their radar, and they like Micky van de Ven, but they are aware that they are only one of several teams.”They’re looking for a top-tier center defender to play on the left side of the defense with Cristian Romero next season.”

What are the differences between Tapsoba, Adarabioyo, and van de Ven?
Tapsoba may be the more reliable option because, according to FBref, he averaged more tackles and interceptions, as well as fewer errors, per 90 minutes last season than Adarabioyo and van de Ven. However, the 24-year-old is likely to seek the most lucrative contract because his Leverkusen contract is worth £52,000 per week.

Adarabioyo earns £37,000 per week at Fulham, while Van de Ven earns £20,000 per week at Wolfsburg.

While Tapsoba and van de Ven have no Premier League experience, Adarabioyo has 58 Premier League matches courtesy to his tenure at Craven Cottage.

That will be appealing to Postecoglou, yet the former England under-19 international only had an average match rating of 6.72 from WhoScored last season, so there is enough for the incoming Tottenham manager to think about.
