Tottenham midfielder ‘offered’ to another club – a ‘source close’ to the 27-year-old says he wants to go.

Despite having a year left on his contract, has chosen to quit Tottenham Hotspur, according to journalist Pipe Sierra.

Sierra further stated that despite offers from other English clubs, the Colombia international would prefer to play in a new league. In this time, the 27-year-old may consider leaving Europe and returning to South America.

Flamengo regard the Tottenham player as a top-tier talent and have not ruled him out. Their primary focus, however, is on boosting other areas, especially the defensive midfield position.

Flamengo are reportedly in talks with River Plate‘s Nicolás de la Cruz and Atlético Mineiro‘s Allan.

This would be discouraging for Sánchez, who, according to his entourage, is eager to join the South American team.
