Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a summer departure from the club
According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are ‘negotiating a deal’ with Tottenham for the Denmark international midfielder, who is ‘likely to depart’ Tottenham before the transfer market ends on Friday.

Manchester United, as well as Spanish heavyweights Atletico Madrid, are reportedly keeping tabs on the player. According to reports, the La Liga club has reopened talks with Tottenham over the player.
It will be interesting to see where Hojbjerg eventually ends up.
He has been an important player for Tottenham since signing from Southampton, but Ange Postecoglou’s appointment has placed doubt on his long-term future at the club.
Tottenham are willing to cash in on the Denmark international since he does not fit Postecoglou’s free-flowing attacking philosophy.

If the deal can be completed, there is no doubt that Hojbjerg would be a good signing for Fulham. The London club is poised to split ways with Joao Palhinha, and they will need to find a suitable replacement for their key midfielder.
Hojbjerg is a Premier League regular who might make an immediate impact at Craven Cottage. While other teams hope to recruit the Denmark international on loan, Fulham is willing to buy the player now rather than sign him on a short-term deal.
Spurs will almost certainly want to sell the player permanently, which might give Fulham an advantage in the transfer race.
