According to the latest Italian media sources, Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga is on his way to Torino Calcio Mercato.
According to the report, an agreement was reached in the final few hours, and the player is heading on loan with the option to buy.
Tanganga is claimed to have had the choice to quit Tottenham and join clubs like as Everton, Luton Town, and Lyon. Nonetheless, he opted to relocate to Torino.
The report does not specify how much the Serie A club will pay Spurs if they decide to buy the player at the end of the season. It is reported that all that is lacking is a final ‘ok’ from the Italian side.
Tanganga hasn’t played a single minute for Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou, and given his limited playing time last season, it was evident he wasn’t in the club’s plans.
Because his contract with Spurs expires in 2025, there’s a fair chance he’ll return to the club next summer, especially because Italian clubs are notorious for attempting to negotiate purchases for amounts lower than the pre-agreed purchase clause.
