According to Turkish media, Galatasaray vice president Erden Timur came to London last month to arrange a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Victor Nelsson
The defender has a long history with the north London club, who are also interested in his teammate, Nicol Zaniolo.
According to Milliyet, Timur has returned to London to resume talks with Tottenham about Nelsson and Zaniolo.
Timur is believed to have’sat it down’ with Spurs for both the 24-year-old center-back and the Italy international, requesting €60 million for both.
Ange Postecoglou’s side, according to Milliyet, made a ‘crazy offer’ that included two to three of their own players as well as €30-35 million in cash.
In exchange for the Dane and the 23-year-old striker, the club received cash. It is unknown who Spurs offered to Galatasaray.
Timur was disappointed with Tottenham’s offer, but negotiations for Nelsson and Zaniolo are still ongoing, according to the source.
During his recent trip to England, the Galatasaray vice-president reportedly ‘wants to take real steps’ to sell some of his team’s players.
Meanwhile, the former AS Roma star informed the Italian press on Wednesday that he hopes to join Juventus.
