Highland School (Va.) forward Nate Ament, Scheyer & Co.’s lone remaining target on the 2025 recruiting trail, sat courtside for Duke’s latest basketball triumph.
Ament, who recently revealed plans to name a winner in his recruitment on April 1, is down to a top five that includes Duke and Louisville, as well as Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
The 6-foot-9, 185-pound five-star was an official visitor with the Blue Devils the same weekend as their Feb. 1 home win over archrival UNC and is presently ranked fourth overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.
His addition to Duke’s four-deep class would strengthen the bluebloods’ position at the top of the cycle rankings. Meanwhile, the Blue Devils, who are now on an 11-game winning streak, appear to be in position to earn the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The March Madness Selection Show, which airs at 6 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS), will reveal their destination.
