“Mikey Moore is a player that plenty of humans have been speaking about for a long time, signed a new deal in the summer, he’s only sixteen however when you watch him, he has such grace on the ball, such dribbling potential and vision, he’s any individual who is sincerely anyone they’re excited about,” Barclay said.

The future is bright

There’s every motive to be excited about what the future holds for Spurs.

So many young players are already doing the commercial enterprise at first-team level, whilst they also have so many gifted young players in the academy and out on loan.

The likes of Lucas Bergvall, Ashley Phillips and Alfie Devine all seem like stars in the making, and, if all goes to plan, Tottenham must have an incredibly proficient squad in a few years’ time.

Of course, it’s hard to accurately predict what these players will sooner or later do at first-team level, but there is motive to be confident about Spurs’ future, that’s for sure.
