According to Daily Mail writer Sami Mokbel, Leicester star Harvey Barnes would choose Aston Villa and West Ham over Spurs.
Tottenham have already bought James Maddison from Leicester City for £40 million, making him one of the summer’s best buys.
Harvey Barnes is another Leicester player who has been associated with the club, with one rumor claiming that Spurs made a combined £50 million bid for both him and Maddison, which was rejected by the Foxes.
Barnes is one of the club’s many quality players who will be looking to leave following Leicester’s relegation.
He has also been connected with Aston Villa and West Ham United in the Premier League.
And, according to Mokbel, he would prefer to join one of the other two teams over Tottenham.
This is because he is more likely to earn playing time at Spurs, who already have Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, and Richarlison.
In response to the Last Word on Spurs, he stated:
“You mentioned Harvey Barnes, and there is a lot of interest in Harvey Barnes.”
“However, Harvey Barnes has a number of options, and while he may be drawn to Tottenham, he may think, ‘Wait a minute, how often am I going to play here?'”You have Son, Kulusevski, and Richarlison all present. “I think he would look at a club like West Ham or Aston Villa maybe where he knows he would play regularly where as at Tottenham there may not be that guarantee.”
Harvey Barnes is most effective when he plays on the left side of the field. Son or Richarlison are set to start on the left, with Kulusevski on the right and Kane, if he stays, up front.
Spurs have also accepted personal terms with Manor Solomon, another left winger.
In any case, whomever wins the race to sign him would be a tremendous signing.
In 187 games for Leicester, he has 45 goals and 32 assists.
