Evan Ndicka is expected to tell Eintracht Frankfurt about his future in the next ten days, amid reports that Liverpool is interested in signing the defender
According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 23-year-old will announce his plans to join the Bundesliga club in the coming days, with Ndicka’s contract with Frankfurt set to expire at the end of the season and growing interest from across Europe.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool are in the running to sign Ndicka, along with FC Barcelona, and the defender’s pending announcement to Frankfurt, which is expected to be made public, could be huge for Jurgen Klopp’s transfer plans.
The Reds are looking to sign a centre-back this summer, with Joel Matip and Joe Gomez’s futures in doubt, and Ndicka, regarded as one of the best defenders in Germany and Europe as a whole, could be a fantastic signing, especially as a free agent.
News #Ndicka: Frankfurt bosses expect his final & official decision in the next 10 days. Frankfurt has no hope that he will stay. Ndicka is on verge to leave the club on free deal. Same as Kamada. #Mavropanos is still a hot topic in order to replace him! #SGE @SkySportDE ???????????????? pic.twitter.com/9DMHSAPkxW

Liverpool will be hoping that Ndicka will leave Frankfurt.
Ndicka, a left-footed centre-back who has been a regular in the Bundesliga since he was a teenager, has a lot going for him heading into the summer transfer window, and Liverpool will be hoping he announces his intention to leave Frankfurt at the end of the season.
As previously reported, Liverpool are looking to add a quality center-back to the ranks of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate. And, with Ndicka potentially becoming a free agent, the Reds can save a lot of money on transfers if they can bring in a key target for an important position without paying a fee.
