The Colombian media is reporting good news about Liverpool star Luis Diaz’s recuperation
According to writer Diego Rueda, the winger might return to action against Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.
Additionally, the article suggests Diaz ‘may have minutes’ in Liverpool’s round-of-16 Champions League encounter against Real Madrid next week.
Luis Diaz suffered a knee injury in October and was substituted in Liverpool’s 3-2 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
It was widely assumed that he would only return this year, but with his fitness continuously being assessed, there was no set date for his return.
Diaz has only made 12 appearances this season due to an injury that has kept him out for the majority of the season, with four goals and three assists.

As Liverpool appears to be on the mend this season, he might provide the Reds some hope of a successful finale to the season in the Premier League, aside from the seemingly impossible job of defeating Real Madrid by at least three goals.
