They seem to be set to lose out on a deal for Club Brugge ace Nusa after Brentford hijacked the deal, but the £25million pass has reportedlystalled.
Spurs planned to purchase Nusa and ship him back on loan to Club Brugge and are now eyeing up comparable agreements for younger stars in the closing ranges of the window.
Tottenham have been active in the market this month after signing centre-back Radu Dragusin permanently for a reported£26million from Genoa and Timo Werner on loan for the rest of the season from RB Leipzig.
