Stefan Effenberg said Sport1 that Liverpool target Jude Bellingham should stay at Borussia Dortmund, citing Jason Sancho’s troubles at Manchester United

Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

According to AS, both Liverpool and Real Madrid are interested in signing the England international midfielder during the summer transfer window and are willing to pay a high price for him.

Effenberg, on the other hand, believes that the 19-year-old midfielder would benefit from staying at Dortmund for at least one more season.

The former Bayern Munich and Germany international midfielder has warned Bellingham of Sancho’s issues at Manchester United.

Sancho, 22, has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since joining from Dortmund in 2021.

JUDE BELLINGHAM, LIVERPOOL TARGET STEFAN EFFENBERG

“I would tell Bellingham to continue in Dortmund, he is still young and can still sign three, four elite contracts in the future,” Effenberg added, as translated by BVBBuzz.

“I also believe that, unlike Haaland, Bellingham has a strong relationship to BVB. He has complete trust and support.

“Thus, I hope for his own development that he decides to stay. There is no guarantee somewhere else. “The best example is Sancho.”

HITC OPINION: JUDE BELLINGHAM DOES NOT NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT LIVERPOOL’S FAILURE

Jude Bellingham, in our opinion, does not need to be concerned about a possible failure at Liverpool.

The midfielder will have time to settle in at Liverpool, who require men like him in the center of the field.

Undoubtedly, Jadon Sancho’s situation at Manchester United has yet to improve, but consider Erling Haaland.
