The North Londoners want Alejo Veliz to go on loan to another Premier League team for the upcoming season, according to Argentinean writer Uriel Lugt, who made this revelation on social networking platform X.
The 20-year-old went on loan to Sevilla in January, but his tenure in Spain was a sad one, as he only played 29 minutes in 6 outings for the La Liga team (transfermarkt).
A return to Argentina has been ruled out for Veliz, despite reports that he was drawing interest from his native country, where River Plate and Racing were rumored to have inquired about his services.
Alternatively, Tottenham would prefer Veliz to gain more Premier League experience, and Italian clubs are also interested in him.

Before his loan stint, Veliz made ten appearances for Tottenham in all competitions the previous season. On New Year’s Eve, a 4-2 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion marked his first goal in the top division (transfer).
