Several clubs have been mentioned in the media recently, but Sainz also cited Liverpool as a club interested in Veiga.

Sainz stated that Real Madrid is interested in Veiga, maybe as a replacement for Jude Bellingham.

Liverpool and Real Madrid could compete for Bellingham this summer, but both teams may suddenly be interested in Veiga as an option.

The Spaniard is garnering a lot of attention and could make a big move this summer.

GABRI VEIGA IS LIVERPOOL’S TARGET.

Veiga has exploded onto the limelight this season, emerging as one of Spain’s finest talents.

The 20-year-old has now scored eight goals and provided three assists in just 24 La Liga appearances this season, gaining much acclaim.

The midfielder has been described as ‘wonderful’ by Spanish daily SPORT, and ‘excellent’ by Faro de Vigo.

Veiga is a Celta Vigo youth product who currently appears to have a bright future.

Clubs are lining up to sign Veiga, as expected.

According to the Sunday Mirror (12/03, p70), Newcastle United and Manchester United are dominating the fight for Veiga.

Celta are hoping to bind Veiga down to a new contract that has a massive £70 million release clause, which is double his existing release clause.

Liverpool might now jump in with their own move, leaving Newcastle and Manchester United devastated.

Perhaps this is the option Liverpool will pursue if Bellingham cannot be acquired, but you can’t blame the Reds for being drawn to Veiga’s talent and potential.
